Oscar and Roxene Romo

4/26/36 – 12/15/20

Oscar Romo passed away and is with the Lord on December 15, 2020. Oscar Flores Romo was born April 26, 1936 to Clemencia & Zeferino Romo in Ontario, California. He worked in the local cannery for over 40 years, the final years as a supervisor. He is the father to two children and has one grandchild. He loves his family and they love him!

Oscar loved hummingbirds, and was a huge San Francisco 49ers fan. His house decorations were focused on hummingbirds and the 49ers including family pictures as well. He also loved country music, reading, going out to eat, and going for drives/walks through gardens, vineyards, mountains, lakes and the ocean. He also loved to travel and see new places.

Oscar is survived by his daughter Alice (Archie) Steele of Stockton; grandson Michael Steele of Lodi, siblings Francis (Johnny) Mata of Stockton & Susan Patoc of Delano, and many nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

Oscar is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Kelli Anne, siblings Carmen Asuncion, David Romo, Felix Romo, Virginia Coronilla, and Benny Romo.

He will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. He was deeply loved by his family & friends and will be greatly missed…until we meet again. Rest in Peace.

Alice Steele in Stockton is in charge of the arrangements. Services/celebration of life will be held at a later date due to the pandemic. Invitations will be sent once a date is set.
