

Patrick Michael Arnold passed away unexpectedly in Nevada while vacationing with his family in California on August 19, 2017 at the age of 37. Patrick was born on March 4, 1980 in Hampton, VA to Michael Francis Arnold and Gabriella Marie Etheridge. He graduated from Middletown High School, MD and earned a Bachelor of Science from Strayer University in 2008. Patrick served his country as part of the US Army’s Signal Command. While stationed in Korea, Patrick fell in love with a fellow soldier and his future bride, Eileen, and their family has grown to be a loving pack of six, who do everything together. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend. Patrick is survived by his father, Michael Francis (Laurie), of Woodford, MD, his wife, Eileen, three sons: Zakry (Tigs), Raphael (Nano), and Patrick, Jr. (PJ), one daughter: Charatyn (Charty), one brother: Joshua Ethridge, two sisters: Kaitlyn Etheridge and Cynthia Flaherty (Joseph) of Kennesaw, GA., mother-in-law Stella (Miguel) of Stockton, CA, in-law siblings Joe, Jesse, Michael, Miguel Jr. (Lolo), Malissa, Suzanne, and Caroline, six aunts: Kathleen (Arnold) Gray of Annapolis, MD, Juliana Harding Iaguili (Pete), Mary T. Arnold, Rita Harding Gary (Roscoe), Gina Harding, Patricia Harding Davis (Gregory) of Hampton, VA, one uncle Gonzalo, stepfather: Ronald Ethridge of Kennesaw, GA, and nieces, nephews, and cousins: Robert, Christiana, Taylor, Brienna, Jessica, Benjamin, Tessy (Jacob), Jessica, Marina, Angelina (Itsy), Mercies, Michael Jr. Joe, and Kaylani. He is preceded in death by his mother: Gabriella Marie Etheridge, and grandparents: Francis Thomas and Fumi Arnold, and Raphael M. and Mona L. Harding. A Catholic Rosary service will be held on Thursday, August 31st at 6:00 p.m., preceded by viewing and visitation with the family beginning at 2:00pm, at the De Young Memorial Chapel in Stockton, California. Celebration of Patrick's life will be held on Friday, September 1st at 11:00 a.m. by St. Mary’s Catholic Church at the De Young Memorial Chapel in Stockton, California. Military honors and Interment will follow at 1:00pm in the San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
