

Ruby Norton, went to the loving Lord at age 90, on Sunday, December 28, 2025, in Stockton, CA. Ruby was born Ruby Anthony Villavicencio on April 6, 1935 in Rancho Cucamonga, and was preceded in death by her father Jose L. Villavicencio, her mother Caroline R. Villavicencio, daughter Joan M. Lopez, and husband Donald E. Norton.
Ruby moved to Stockton in the 40's and attended elementary, high school, and graduated from Stockton College. Ruby's career of 35 years with San Joaquin County in the County Clerks, Public Works, and DA Offices and worked part time at Roger's Jewelers, Lerner Co. She was a member of the Businesswomen's Association, Elks, Eagles, and the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Star Program and a parishioner at Presentation of the BVM Church.
Ruby enjoyed traveling and had visited much of the United States, Mexico, Europe, along with cruises to Alaska and Mexico. She was a caring and loving caregiver to her parents and others. Ruby's caring nature and friendly personality made everyone she met a close friend. Ruby was the basis of her many group acquaintances and friendships, due to her infectious and sassy personality.
Ruby is survived by her daughter Celestine, son Raymond, sister Delia Cesena, sister Joan Fidler, granddaughters Jennifer, Summer, Samantha, and Angelina, and great grandchildren Jacob, Justin, Jaxson, Harper, Alexa, Abigail, Cheyenne, Nathaniel, Ailanny, and Sonjia.
