Stella Parrish, age 94, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 in Stockton CA. Stella was born in San Antonio, Texas on October 27th, 1923. She graduated from Holy Names High School in Oakland CA and worked for the Naval Supply in Oakland during WW2. She married her true love, George Parrish, on April 25, 1948 and moved to Stockton in 1949. George died from cancer in 1981. She is survived by her daughter, Gail Parrish, of Campbell, CA and son George and daughter-in-law Elizabeth of Stockton. Stella loved animals especially her poodle, Lovie. She brought a smile to all who knew her. Stella loved her many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was a devout Catholic and a parishioner for over 65 years at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 2:00PM - 6:00PM followed by a Rosary at 6:00PM at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St. Stockton, CA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 10 AM at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church. 2544 Plymouth Rd. Stockton, CA, with committal to follow at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
