On Sunday December 8, 2013, Alberta lost her courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Werner; Sons Glenn (Joanne), Eric (Janet); Grandchildren Aleasha, Justin, Matteo and Nico; Brothers Arthur, Gerald (Rhoda), Raymond (Darlene); her Sisters Marion (Phillip), Bernice (Jim) and Loretta (Ron) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Alberta was predeceased by her son Earl Haukenfrers; her parents Albert and Leona Lutz and sisters Doris Wickstrom and Helen Ballash. Funeral Services will be held at the Darwell Community Hall on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the Darwell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Darwell Cemetery Fund.
