We were deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Christopher.
 Although we may be far apart, please know that our prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Christopher was taken from us far too soon, and the pain of the loss of a Son, Grandson and best friend  is unimaginable. 

I can only hope that you find strength and solace in the love and memories you shared together.

Chris Saunders is an older brother I wish I had. He is a very caring and gentle soul. Behind his warm smile is the intent that everyone around him is doing well. I had the pleasure of working with him, not as a colleague, but more as a friend. Chris was one of my very first friends when I started my job alongside him. Although we took different avenues in careers we did check up on each other and vouch for when needed.  Chris is always making sure that those in his circle are taken care of. When we weren't he knew what to say, what to do, to make things better. He was always someone you could rely on and hang out with as if time didn't matter. Rest easy friend.

What a beautiful soul.  Gone to soon and will be greatly missed.

I am honoured to have witnessed such a beautiful soul of light in this sometimes dark world. I’m sorry I never got to say goodbye to you.Thank you for loving all the animals. Our adventures together started in 2008. We met through a mutual connection of ours, and ended up living together for a time. We quickly became best friends, and did everything together. MTG, airsoft, NERF, paintball, foam weapon combat, and Dungeons and Dragons were staples of our time together, along with 7eleven chicken Caesar pitas or food from Edo. I spent so much time in Chris' parents' basement that Wes at one point had threatened to adopt me so he could buy and force me to wear a jacket if I didn't start wearing one when it got cold out (and he assured me he didn't want that). But I made a personal challenge to try and get him to follow through on that. I mean, Chris' parents are great people, and there could be worse things than officially being Chris' brother right? When I got married, Chris was one of my groomsmen, and he was the last person to leave after helping clean up the reception. I could always count on Chris to be the first to arrive to anything, and usually was the last to leave. As we got older and started families of our own, our usual Friday night hangouts became less often, but we always made time for each other, jumping on any opportunity to get together. Weekly hangouts had slowly become every couple of months as life became busier and busier, but never once did it feel like we were drifting apart. Losing Chris has been the hardest thing I've had to go through, and he will be forever missed and remembered always.

I only knew Chris maybe 5-6 years and within that timeline ,we became friends . The kind of friends you ask for advice and lean on in hard times. He was the man his mother and father hoped yes become. He is the friend that his friends hoped he be. He was the love that Vanessa deserved. And he was much more to a couple of kids who he wouldn’t stop talking about. You are a superhero in real life and now you are in the afterlife . I just pray I get to see you in my dreams one last time . RIP CAS

Chris will be  making his way  home to join all his pets he loved so dearly. One in particular 
was his cat named Taylor.

Chris you were a great person to br around and it going to be tough not having you I am going to miss you you were so kind to me and Vanessa love you chris

Dear Ingrid & Paul; Tina & Theresa and all extended family of Christopher, 
             I extend sincere sympathy and heartfelt condolences in the loss of your dear grandson. Tina & Theresa you may not even remember me from back in Hampton, NB., however your mom has kept me updated over the years and the sympathy and condolences are most sincere and heartfelt for you also as well as extended family who I have not known.  I will not and can not say, "I know how you are feeling" because at 80 I have never had to deal with what you are at this time but I can emphasize with you. I have several infant &/or stillborn siblings, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in heaven waiting for me to meet. 
           Caring thoughts and my prayers for strength and comfort are with you as you traverse this most difficult path on the road of life. May you cherish the many great memories you have each shared with Christopher, a grandson, son and nephew, hold them close and may they become your most valued treasure. No-one can take away our memories. I ask that God, our Lord and Saviour will heal the pain but may the wonderful memories never become dulled.
