Frank was at his happiest while tinkering in his scrapyard and will be remembered as an incredibly hard worker. He portrayed a very hard exterior, but deep down he was a gentle spirit with a soft heart who would never hesitate to help someone in need (but only once!). Frank had a passion and incredible talent for building and creating; his scrapyard was full of scrap metal castles and rocket ships. Frank was very well known in the scrap business after having lived and worked in Spruce Grove for over 50 years. He was known for his strong work ethic, enigmatic personality, and for loving his work more than anything.
Frank will be forever loved by his son Frank (Carla); his grandchildren Christine (Mike) and Adam (Sara); his great-grandchildren: Freya, Runa, Claire, Alice, and Isla; his wife Olive, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, and all of his loved ones overseas.
A Liturgy of the Word for Frank will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, located at 200 Veterans Blvd, Spruce Grove, AB, T7X 3A5, Canada. The service is scheduled for February 17, 2026, at 11:00 am.
