I only knew Fred and Winnie a short time as neighbors, but I really enjoyed our visits on your front porch in the summers. Best neighbors ever.

Growing up, there weren’t many days where I did not find myself over at the Kosch’s – it was like having a second family, just down the road. Many laughs and many great meals around their large dining room table. Fred was a big part of those memories for me. I won’t soon forget his softspoken voice and nature – nor his forgiveness for us kids and all our shenanigans back then! In later years, my visits were fewer and farther between, but no matter when we did meet up – Fred was always first to offer a big, welcoming hug and an open invite to a cup of coffee. To Winnie, Alfred, Gloria, Gary, Michael and family - I can only imagine the profound loss you are experiencing and hope that, in time, the tears are replaced with gentle smiles over the beautiful memories that Fred leaves behind. He was such a kind and good man and will be missed beyond measure. May you all find comfort and solace in the love surrounding you all, right now.

I have very fond memories visiting the Kosch farm as a child. My deepest condolences to Winnie, Alfred, Gloria, Gary, Michael and your families. I have no doubt that Fred will be deeply missed, always such a gentle and kind man. 

My visits to Fred and Winnie’s to give Fred his hair cuts was the highlight of my day. He will be missed greatly, my deepest condolences to all the family.

Fred was a wonderful man I enjoyed having talks with him. When I first started mowing Winnie and Fred's lawn I asked him if he wanted his lawn aerated or power raked. He told me that he never had that done on his farm and he's not doing it in town. Good bye Fred we'll miss you.

Our families grew up together and I have so many fantastic memories of visiting, camping and many campfires & beverages shared with laughter. My best memory of Freddy was fishing side by side in our boats and the crazy shenanigans we would get up to on the lake. If you were there, you know what I'm talking about!
Dearest Winnie, so sorry for the loss of your dear husband. Alfred, Gloria, Gary, Mike & Family, your dad was an amazing loving man with an ability to make you laugh when you least expected it. Sending you all positive thoughts and the strength to endure the difficult days to come. My love is sent to you all, Fay.

Fred was our neighbor for 40 years.  We always enjoyed our chats that were filled with laughter.
