Gale Heintz

Gale Heintz of Spring Lake, AB passed away on January 20th at the age of 69. She passed in Edmonton at the Misericordia Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Gale was born on February 27, 1955 in Edmonton to Sam and Elizabeth Tiessen. She graduated from Jasper Place High School. After working for several companies in Edmonton, Gale met her soon to be husband Robert Heintz. Gale and Robert were married in 1977 and they were life partners for 47 years. Gale retired from her last job – Governement of Canada RCMP- after 11 years.

Gale is survived by her loving husband Robert; her daughter Christine (Mitchell) and her sister Dorothy.

She loved spending time with her family and friends. Gale had a passion for crocheting, riding her horse, camping and travelling.

She was predeceased by her parents Sam and Elizabeth, brother-in-law Robert Gauthier and her beloved pup Soka.

As per Gale’s request, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
