Georgia is survived by her brother Gerald (Beverly) Berkhold as well as two sons; Kevin (Gail) and Keith (Sue), grandchildren Megan, Cole, Becky, Alexandra, Sarah, George, and Kyle and five great-grandchildren.
Georgia was schooled in Redcliff and then Medicine Hat before obtaining her Nursing Degree at the Holy Cross Hospital in Calgary. After working both overseas and across Canada she moved back to Redcliff and worked at the local Medical Clinic until her retirement. She then moved to Stony Plain to be closer to her grandchildren. Georgia was very active with the United Church and very much enjoyed knitting during her spare time.
Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
