It is with great sadness that we must announce the sudden passing of our very own social butterfly Gregory “Gregg” Thomas Clarke. The 32 year Canadian Army Veteran passed on April 2, 2020 at the Stony Plain Hospital surrounded by dedicated nurses and doctors who he entertained with his sense of humor until the end.
Gregg was born in Vancouver, moved many times, but finally found home in both Lumby, BC and Onoway, AB. Gregg was known for his kindness, if he was able to help, he would without a thought of compensation. If you owned an animal, he was your friend. He loved animals, especially his dogs Digger and Ricki.
Gregg leaves behind his wife Judi; stepsons Mike and Russell; son Alex (Katherine) and their children Teagan and Jaiden; daughter Beth; sister Sandra (Bart); aunt Cheryl; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews as well as many Canadian and international friends.
He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth; parents Tom and June and brother Michael.
He will be greatly missed and loved forever.
To honor his love of animals and generosity, we ask that in lieu of flowers a memorial donation in his name to ARTS Senior Animal Rescue.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
