It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Less Ertman, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Less passed away peacefully at his home near Onoway, Alberta, on January 10, 2026, at the age of 86

Less is lovingly remembered by his wife, Katherine Ertman (Woyewitka). Also, his children: Kerry, Teresa (Wes), Wade (Denise), and Kim (Bryan): his grandchildren: Amanda (Josh). Ashley, Austin, Blake, Brooklynn, Cody, Dusty (Cheyenne), and Jennifer (Devan);Darcy (Sammi)and his great-grandchildren: Jack, Alaina, Jason, Mavis, and Eevie

He was predeceased by his parents, Adolf and Mary Ertman, and his sisters, Alice Porochnuk and Opal Meyer.

A funeral service will be held at the Onoway Museum and Heritage Centre, located at 4708 Lac St Anne Trail N, Onoway, AB, T0E 1V0, Canada. This service is scheduled for January 23, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with burial and a light lunch to follow.
