Special Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Lois was very strong and determined. She grew up on St. Joseph Island where her father was the lighthouse keeper at Wilson Channel Range Lighthouse, which many stories were told over the years. She married Denton and moved to the Sault where she raised their 4 children. She was a bookkeeper for Dad's business “Charron Trucking”. They moved to B.C. and then she moved to Alberta after Denton passed away. She took many trips back home to the Sault, with her beautiful dogs, to see her family. Mom loved flower gardening, sewing and crocheting.
In keeping with Lois's wishes a private family country graveside service will be held in the Spring. She will join her husband Denton, and son Randy, in the Cloudslee Cemetery in Bruce Mines, Ontario.
Memorial Donations to A.R.C.H. (Sault Ste. Marie, ON) or the Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
We are profoundly thankful to Dr Allan McDonald Associate Medical Center, also the exceptional team at WestView Health Center and caring staff at St Micheal's Fenwyck Heights for the dignity, love and attentive care provided to Mom. Your compassion made all the difference.
