Norman August DeMaere

August 17, 1942 – December 22, 2023

Much to the heartbreak of his family, Norm passed away suddenly at his Spruce Grove home on December 22. He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 61 years, Judy, and by his beloved children and grandchildren: son Tim (Shelly) and grandchildren Paul and Wynne; son Todd; daughter Deanne (Alvin) and grandson Braydon. Norm is also mourned by his sister Marian; brother Cameron (Jackie); sisters-in-law Linda and Anita, brother-in-law Jerry (Sharon) Williamson and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Norm was predeceased by his beloved son Randy; parents Francis and Edith; parents-in-law Clare and Patricia Williamson; brothers Leonard (Pat), Donald (Norma) and Kenneth and brothers-in-law Bob and Al.

Norm enjoyed playing shuffleboard, cards, camping, golfing and spending special time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed and his memory forever cherished.

A memorial service will be held for Norm on Friday, January 12 at 12:30 pm at Parkland Funeral Services, 3502 44 Ave, Stony Plain.
