Peter Thomson Bell

October 1, 1935 - October 1, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Peter T. Bell, on the day of his 87th birthday.

Peter will be forever loved by his wife of 68 years, Lucille; and dearly missed by his four daughters, Karen (Leroy); Kathy (Kirk); Fran; Kim (Larry), and Peter’s sister, Margaret. Peter was predeceased by his son, Peter Jr, his granddaughter, Katie, and his brother, John.

“Grandpa Ducks” is loved by his grandchildren: Jason, Shannon, Brian, Noreen, Tyler, Kirk, Kristin, Joshua, Joel, Janelle, Jenna, Leah, and Jonny. Peter lives on in the hearts of numerous great-grandchildren, and his extended family members.

Peter had a successful career at Honeywell Controls, but he was truly a devoted family man. Dad, we will always remember you presiding over Sunday night family dinners with pride. Peter was a cancer survivor, and he endured many physical challenges as he aged. But everyone who visited Peter’s home received his infectious smile and a glass of homemade wine, or a treat from the candy jar.

A Celebration of Life honouring Peter T. Bell will be held Friday, October 14th at 4 PM at the Spruce Grove Pioneer Center.

If friends desire, Memorial Donations may be made in Peter’s honour to the Canadian Cancer Society. Thank you to the staff of Westview Health Centre, Family Medical ward, for the tender care given to our Dad during his last weeks.
