Royce "Bud" Johnson

It is with profound sadness that the family of Royce “Bud” Johnson announce his peaceful passing on January 18, 2026, at the age of 90 years.

Bud is survived by his children: Michele, Kevin and Craig; his grandchildren: Brianna (Kurtis), Dustin (Amber), and Logan (Tailyn); great-grandson Finnley (Brianna & Kurtis); his twin sister Joyce and younger sister Vicki.

Bud was predeceased by his wife Joan, two brothers and two sisters.

He was a solid presence with a kind gentle heart and unwavering support. Quiet by nature, he didn't speak just to fill the room-but when he did, it was often with a well-timed joke or a story worth hearing. Beneath his steady exterior was a warm, patient soul who found joy in making others smile. He was also a talented artist who enjoyed painting and often spent time doodling with the grandkids. He will be remembered for his kindness, his humour, and the quiet way he made everyone around him feel at ease. He touched many people's lives and will be dearly missed.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
