It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved dad, Rudy, on January 25, 2025, at the age of 79.
Rudy was born in Edmonton, AB on July 22, 1945, the youngest of the Getzinger family. Rudy spent his early adult years in Ardrossan where he developed his acreage and raised his two sons. Rudy later moved to his current home in Alberta beach where he spent his last 27 years tinkering on his land. He loved his music and was given the gift of gab.
Rudy is survived by his sons: Perry (Liz) and Randy (Michelle); grandchildren: Sydney, Aiden and Olivia; siblings: Emma, Martin (Shirley), Bill (Gladys), and Rhiney (Sandy).
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 31, 2025. Details to follow.
