Shane was born to Bill and Dorothy Rea and raised in Jasper, AB. with his brother Chad and younger sister Cindy. Shane was a beloved son and brother. He was a best friend and "Funcle" to "Sage-a-roo" (Sage), "Koltrain" (Koltin), and "T-bone" (Trenton). Shane has many lifelong friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Shane chose to work in the field of IT at Global Calgary where he was valued, well respected and well-liked by his peers.
Shane was predeceased by his father in 2006.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation for Shane will be held Monday, March 27, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Parkland Funeral Services, 3502 44th Ave, Stony Plain, AB T7Z1L1.
A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date in Shane's true hometown, Jasper.
