On May 20, 2013, Siegfried Grundke of Stony Plain, Alberta, went to his eternal rest at the age of 88. He was predeceased by Isabella, his loving wife of 59 years on January 15, 2013.
Also missing him dearly are his children, Ericka (Dean) Unterschultz, Harry (Irene) and Werner (Debbie). He leaves behind nine grandchildren: Michael, Diane (Michael), Kristel (Dave), Stephen (Daniella), Lisa (Chris), Jason (Jackie), Jennifer (Ryan), Stephanie and Karl, and four great-grandchildren: Dillon, Ian, Ivy and Kasey. He is also survived by one sister, Eva Grassmuck, in Germany. He was predeceased by one sister, Christa Blumhagen, and his parents, Fritz and Rosa Grundke, all in Germany.
