Thomas Lawrence Vigue

Tom is survived by his three daughters Tammi (Matt) Stanko of Lac Ste. Anne County AB, Teresa Vigue of Terrace, BC, Kerry Vigue of Terrace, BC, his sister Yvonne (Murray) Stephen, brother Donald (Lily) Vigue, bonus daughter Danita Petch and stepson David Schaeffer and step daughter Nicole Partridge

Grandchildren Kristyn (Nik) Braun, Kyle Soloman, Brianna Ouellet, Keana Vigue, Cole Ouellet, great grandson, Kadin Burt and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Tom was born and raised in Revelstoke, BC, moved to Vancouver, then followed his sister Ruby to Prince Rupert where he met and married the love of his life Linda and had three daughters.Tom enjoyed doing anything outdoors whether it be snowmobiling, camping, fishing, or his favorite, quadding.Tom was an avid bowler in his younger years, winning several trophies. Tom coached his girls' softball teams and although he was often away driving truck, he tried to take an interest in his daughters' activities.

Tom tried several different career paths, he settled on being a truck driver for Lindsay's Cartage and Storage in Terrace, BC. He was with Lindsay's from 1964 to the time he retired in 2001.

Following his retirement in 2001 Tom became interested in woodworking and made many beautiful pieces that he gave to his friends and family to enjoy.

Later in life Tom found God and enjoyed spending time talking to his brother, Donald and sisters, Yvonne and Ruby about their faith.

Tom is predeceased by his loving wife Linda (1973), his parents, Thomas and Giovanna Vigue, his sisters, Ruby Vigue, and Beverly Michaud.

Graveside service was held on September 6th,2022 at 11:00 am at Heatherdown Cemetery,54031 RR 20, Onoway.AB with Pastor Gary McKeller officiating.

The family would like to thank the wonderful paramedics,doctors and nursing staff at the Westview Health Center in Stony Plain. Their care and compassion was outstanding.
