Albert J Evans

Mr. Albert “Al” James Evans died on Sunday February 2, 2014 at the age of 83. He was the son of Mr and Mrs Albert Evans Senior. He is survived by 4 children and their spouses, Valerie Evans of Eastchester, New York, Donna Feldman (Jason) of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, George Neble (Sharyn) of Winchester, Massachusetts and Nancy Neble McMahon (Jim), along with 6 grandchildren.

He was born and raised in New York where he and his first wife Ruth resided in Eastchester. He spent most of his career with the Society of the Plastics Industry (SPI). He was an officer in the White Plains Elks Club (Lodge 535). After his first wife passed in 1983, he re-married Cornelia Neble Evans and they moved to Stuart Florida. Here he was active in many volunteer organizations such as the American Red Cross and helped deliver over 14,000 meals for the “meals on wheels” program. He was also an active member of the YMCA Newcomers Club. Mr Evans was a veteran of the armed forces.

Services will be held on February 8, 2014 at Aycock Funeral Homes in Stuart, Florida at 10:30 a.m. His remains will be buried with his first wife Ruth at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, New York.
