

Amelia was born in Yonkers, NY and lived in Palm City for 24 years coming from Hartford, CT.
Before retiring, she was an IT Installation Manager for The Hartford Insurance Company for 16 years in Hartford, CT.
Amelia was a graduate of State University of New York at Oswego with a degree in education. She was of Catholic faith and a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City. She was also a member of the Ladies Club at Monarch County Club, the “Nine Holers”, and an avid bridge player (the love of her life). Amelia served as a volunteer for Martin County as a precinct supervisor and was the VP of the Martin County Literacy Council. While living in CT, she was also active in the Garden Club of Glastonbury, CT, and served as Treasurer of the Connecticut Horticultural Society.
Amelia is survived by her husband, Joseph Namnoun of Palm City, FL; daughter, Susan McKibbon Rose of Summerfield, NC; sister, Anne Clarke and her husband Alan of Oxford, CT; grandchildren, Erin and Daniel Rose; stepson, Stephen Namnoum of Mount Laurel, NJ; stepdaughters, Maureen Shephard of South Windsor, CT, JoAnne Paul and her husband, David of Pompton Plains, NJ; and 7 step grandchildren..
She is predeceased by her brothers, John and Mathias Bartok.
A Memorial Mass will be on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 10:00 am at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City, FL.
