Born in Elsa, Texas, Antonio had previously lived in Houston, Texas before relocating to the Stuart area 25 years ago.
He was in the maintenance field and had most recently worked for the Marriot in Stuart for five years.
Antonio was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Eulalia Rivas of Stuart, FL; daughter, Brenda Gamez and her husband, Geraldo of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Cynthia Rivas of Stuart, FL; son, Antonio Rivas Jr. of Stuart, FL; and two grandchildren, Gisela Gamez and Lizzeth Marie Gomez and her husband, Christopher.
Antonio was predeceased by his daughter, Wendy Rivas.
A Memorial Mass was held on July 19, 2013 at 5:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stuart, FL.
