She was born in Ventura, California and had previously lived in Laguna Beach, CA before relocating to the Stuart area in 2001.
Barbara was an ex model and the care taker of her father. She was an avid bridge player, and also participated in the prisoner’s literacy program. She was a volunteer for the Democratic Party, and also was a member of Willoughby Golf Club.
Barbara was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her son, Cyrill Siewert and his wife, Rochella of Bloomington, IN; son, Alexander Siewert, and his wife Michelle of Sidney, Australia; son, Austin Siewert and his wife, Ybarra of Laguna Beach, CA; sister, Jeanne Kidder and her husband, John of Pittsburgh, PA; and two grandchildren.
