She was born in Manala, Arkansas and had previously lived in St. Louis, MO before relocating to the Stuart area 20 years ago.
Mrs. Sherrell was of Christian faith.
She is survived by her son, Rod Sherrell and his wife, Lisa of Stuart, Florida; son, Randy Sherrell of Stuart, Florida; sister, Jean Young of St. Louis, Missouri; sister, Nola Young of Steeleville, Missouri, and two grandchildren, Madison and Darien Sherrell.
Mrs. Sherrell was predeceased by her husband, Claude Sherrell, Jr.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 19, 2012 at Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart at 11:00 AM.
