Daniel (Dan, Danny) Martin Loeffler, 67, of Hobe Sound, Fl. passed on peacefully after some health struggles on December 3, 2025. He passed on the same exact day as his Mom did three years earlier. They had a special bond on Earth and now have a special bond in Heaven.
Daniel was born on November 13, 1958 to Anne and John Loeffler in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
As a kid Danny was gentle and kind, especially to animals. He had pet monkeys, opossums, snakes, a spider, pigeons, a bat, chinchillas, flying squirrels, cats and dogs, a real Dr. Dolittle. We believe he will be caring for the animals in Heaven.
Danny got involved in the auto body industry and at one time owned the largest body shop in Fort Myers. Danny liked all things fast: cars, motorcycles, and watercraft, amongst other things. He raced jet skis and dirt bikes. He even built and ran a large Motocross track in Fort Myers. He loved Nascar and stormy weather. Danny enjoyed being on the water and was an excellent water skier, including going barefoot. Danny was a talented hairdresser specializing in barbering.
Danny was met in Heaven by his parents Anne and Jack, younger brother David, and brother-in-law Billy Lester, as well as many other relatives, friends, and animals. He leaves behind his older sister Lynne who cared for him while he was ill and two younger sisters Lori and Leesa. He leaves behind many friends.
We are grateful that Danny has finally found peace. Enjoy the ride brother until we meet again.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to any animal organization of your choice in his name.
