Died on October 23, 2018 of a massive stroke.
Son of John T. Peeks and Hester Spradley Peeks.
He is survived by daughter, April Morris of Westminster, SC; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brother, Tom Peeks of Dowling Park, FL; sister, Vicky Samuels of Cocoa, FL; and brother Jr. Peeks of Palm City, FL.
David moved to Martin County in 1957 at age 1 year and remained here the rest of his life.
He was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman, his favorite was snook fishing. The snook in the rivers around Martin County may come out of hiding as David is no longer a threat to them.
Known at “Hurricanes Bar and Grill” and other watering holes around the county as Davipedia, David had his idea of things and he did not hesitate to tell them to you in no uncertain terms. But that was my brother.
He will be missed by all and forgotten by none.
