DONALD KEITH KUEPFER

Donald Kuepfer, 81, Hobe Sound, Florida, died December 2, 2012 at Salerno Bay Manor in Stuart Florida. He was born 8/9/1931 to Harvey and Alta Kuepfer (Laycock) in Lansing Michigan. He worked for the state of Michigan and retired from there after 30 years of service.

He was in the Naval Reserves for 7 ½ years. He enjoyed travel and was a member of the Good Sam & Hi-Low travel clubs. He was a member of the Grace Place Community Church in Stuart, Florida where he volunteered. He attended Pennway Church of God in Lansing Michigan where he went on missions trips and sang in choirs. He also enjoyed playing the guitar, playing card games, and eating with friends and family.

Survivors include his wife Barbara Jean Kuepfer of 60 years; one brother, Allan Kuepfer, Traverse City, Michigan; one son and daughter in law, Jerry and Linda Kuepfer, Lansing, Michigan; one daughter and son in law, David and Ruth Wolf, Hobe Sound, Florida; one grandson and wife, Jason and Ann Kuepfer, Lansing, Michigan; one granddaughter and husband, Michael and Jamie Welch, Lansing, Michigan.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 1:00-2:00 PM at The Grace place in Stuart, Florida with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM. Pastor Rick Addison will be officiating. A service will also be held in Lansing Michigan with internment in the Clarksville cemetery in Michigan.
