Eugene Tierney

Mr. Tierney was born in Elgin, Nebraska, and had previously lived in Nampa, Idaho before relocating to Hobe Sound, Florida, thirty two years ago.

He was a missionary in Egypt and a minister in Oklahoma, Wyoming and Idaho.

Mr. Tierney was a member of Hobe Sound Bible Church.

He is lovingly survived by his wife of 52 years, Fern Tierney of Hobe Sound, Florida; son, Darrell Tierney of Steele, Missouri; son, David Tierney (Michelle) of Hobe Sound, Florida; daughter, Ruth Joy Wolff (J. J. ) of West Palm Beach, Florida; daughter, Marie Abbott (Randy) of Fairland, Indiana; sister, Naomi Boyd (David) of North Pole, Alaska; sister, Beverly Farr (Jim) of Gravette, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Erin, Connor, Joshua, Sarah, Austin, Heather and one great grandson, Scotty.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2011 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM with a funeral service to follow on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 1:00 PM, both to be held at Hobe Sound Bible Church in Hobe Sound, Florida.
