He was born in Germany, he moved to Stuart in 1973, coming from S. Africa.
He was the former owner of Edelweiss Delicatessen in Stuart, FL for 20 years. He was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church and a member of Knights of Columbus, both of Stuart, FL. Georg was also a member of the German-American Club in Port St. Lucie. He loved to travel, was an adventurer, and also an avid sailor.
He was predeceased by his two brothers, Horst and Werner.
Survivors include his daughter, Andrea (Jesse) Faugstad of Clarksville, TN.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St Joseph Catholic Church in Stuart, FL.
Interment will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart, FL.
