Georgia Allen Justice

Georgia Anne Justice, born to George and Helen Allen on November 11, 1941, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at the age of 80. She was born in Lima, Ohio and spent her childhood and college years in Ada, Ohio.

She attended Ohio Northern University where she first found her love for teaching. She would spend her entire career in the Martin County school system mostly at Jensen Beach Elementary. Over nearly 35 years she would mold countless students, even her former student's children, with exceptional care and professionalism. She also, we were told, mixed in a good bit of fun. As we have learned over the years mom was, to many, their “favorite teacher ever”. She was recognized for her exceptional gift of teaching with awards from her school, school district and even her state.

Outside of teaching, she enjoyed all kinds of music, nature, travel, dances, and family fun. She did everything with great enthusiasm. Mom never went anywhere that she did not proclaim it to be her favorite place ever.

She is survived by her brother Dan Allen. She has two sons Charles (Renee) and Edward (Amy). She has five grandchildren-Cory, Katie, Karly, Ryan and Christopher. She also has two great granddaughters Nora and Georgia-with another one almost here.

We want to thank each and every family member and friend that made our moms life such a treasure. Although we will miss our mom and all that she brought to our lives, we are grateful that mom is at peace and at home with the Lord now.

A private celebration of our mom‘s life will be held at a later date at her home.
