

Gordon Henry Bahl Jr., age 74, loving husband of Joan Phillips Bahl, caring brother of Gayle (Gary) Bege, dear father of Kerry Ann (Sean) Doyle, the late Kelly Marie Bahl, Mary Patricia (Matthew) Simpson, and Erin Elizabeth (Paul) Mersino, and beloved Poppy to Grace, Luke, Morgan, JT, Lila, Colin, Justin, and Charlotte passed away on February 1, 2017 in Stuart, FL.
Gordon’s life was marked by success, generosity, charisma, and humor. Known for his skills as a captivating public speaker, businessman, inventor, husband, father, and grandfather, Gordon was the CEO of Tishken Products Company.
Gordon graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He started his career at General Motors working on Chevrolet, and then heightened his career at Ford Motor Company. An entrepreneur, Gordon devoted the majority of his career to running Tishken Products. During his time at Tishken, he was a faithful leader, successful businessman, and earned multiple patents from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Gordon, beside Joan, the love of his life and his bride of 49 years, was thoroughly enjoying retirement splitting his time between Stuart, Florida and the Detroit, Michigan area. He actively played golf, trivia, and fishing, and enjoyed the Yacht & Country Club in Stuart. Gordon loved dogs, especially Newfoundlands, and he loved driving his Thunderbird convertible until the end.
A true friend, loyal protector, and the most generous of souls, Gordon now joins his daughter Kelly and his parents in heaven and will be dearly missed.
A Mass of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, February 8th, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1200 SE 10th Street, Stuart Florida, at 10:30am with a reception to immediately follow at Stuart Yacht & Country Club.
Burial services will be held in Michigan in the Spring.
