

Chevy was born in Livermore Falls, Maine and grew up in Wilton, Maine, graduating with The Wilton Academy Class of ’60. He earned a BA from the University of Maine at Machias. In 1970 he moved his family to West Palm Beach and worked as a configuration manager at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft. Following retirement, he and his wife Kathy enjoyed spending summers in Maine.
A self-taught musician, Chevy entertained friends for 60 years singing along while playing guitar and piano. An athlete since childhood, he was an avid sportsmen and coached youth football, basketball, and baseball. In 1979 he bought his first Hobie Cat and enjoyed racing for several years and later cruised the local waters in a Cape Dory. Chevy enjoyed many Newfoundland dogs over the years and family pets were a constant.
He is survived by his daughters Diana Reed and Cindi Chiaravalloti; sons Gino (Diana) and Scott Chiaravalloti; grandchildren Erika Reed and Nicholas Chiaravalloti.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vincenzo Chiaravalloti, his mother Juanita (Marks) Watson, his brother Joseph Chiaravalloti, and his wife of 56 years Kathryn (Gilbert) Chiaravalloti.
