James proudly served in the United States Navy for four years and worked for Public Service Electric and Gas Co. in New Jersey for 40 years.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Rose Marie; their four children, James Jr., Genevieve, Thomas, and Michael and his wife, Lisa; four grandchildren, Joshua, Olivia, Kathryn and Michael Jr. and one great grandchild, Zachary. James was predeceased by his parents, Eva and Tom, and his sister Barbara.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aycock Funeral Home Young and Prill Chapel, 6801 SE Federal Highway, Stuart, Florida 34997. A Mass of Christian burial with military honors will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1200 East 10th Street, Stuart, Florida 34994
