JoeAnn Wiggins

Joeann was born in Stuart, Florida and resided in the area most of her life before relocating to Okeechobee in 2012.

JoeAnn worked as a sheriff’s dispatcher for the Martin County Sheriff’s Department in Stuart, FL for 20 years. In her leisure time, she loved to draw and work in the yard (especially, mowing). Making the landscape of her property beautiful was one of the past times she enjoyed most. Never the less, spending time with family and enjoying new restaurants were other activities she always made time for. Joeann owned the label master when the game pogo was considered. She would play to occupy her spare time and to keep her brain fresh. Last but not least, Joeann was a believer in God and sincerely enjoyed any moment she had to worship her savior. God has taken her home, and at last, her soul is finally at peace. For that, we must thank our Jesus.

She is survived by her five children. Her daughter, Rebecca West of Okeechobee, FL; son, William Baker, Jr of Stuart, FL; daughter, Sylvia Ann Wiggins Goetz of Vero Beach, FL; son, Horace C. Wiggins of Port Salerno, FL; son, Calvin L. Wiggins of Stuart; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
