Born to John and Elizabeth Raney in Cincinnati, OH, Monty has been a resident of Stuart for the past 10 years moving from Dayton, OH. Prior to retirement he worked for Systems Research Lab in Dayton as a physicist. Monty had earned two Masters of Science Degrees in Engineering Systems and Physics .
Monty is survived by his three daughters Kris Pereira (Robert) of Chicago, IL, Abby Raney of Dayton, OH, and Kate Raney of Chicago, IL; parents John and Elizabeth Raney of Stuart, FL; sisters Linda Raney Randolph of Mason, OH and Margaret Raney Bell of Stuart, FL; and four grandchildren.
A celebration of Monty’s life will be held on Friday, March 25, 2011 from 3 to 4 PM at Aycock Funeral Home, 505 South Federal Highway, Stuart, FL 34994.
