Mr. Pflum was born in Austria and had lived in Palm City for the past 17 years. He was an electrical engineer and worked for the Bechtel Corporation for 30 years.
Mr. Pflum was a veteran of the United States Navy and served our country in the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Mellanie Pflum; his children, Donna Huber (Dennis); Mark Pflum; Peter Pflum (Jeanine); Jennifer Kennedy; Robin Pflum, and Melissa Clanton (Steve); grandchildren, Jamie Earnhart; Lance Huber; Oliver Clanton and Emily Clanton; and his great grandchildren, Katrina Smith and Conrad Park.
Mr. Pflum was predeceased by his mother, Mary Hartwell.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with interment to follow at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida
