

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 30 years, Ruth Rohloff. The woman he loved so deeply in his life, and would do anything for.
He is survived by his children, John F Rohloff, Lisa R Brode and Vicki L Crawford. He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Friend and Mentor.
In his early years he was a pilot in the Air Force and served our country in the Vietnam War and stayed employed with the Air Force for 18 years. His passion for flying only continued from there. He was a Captain for American Airlines from December 1988 until January 2007. After his first retirement he became a volunteer for meals on wheels for about 4 years until he had taken the opportunity to return to his passion and becoming a flight instructor for American Airlines, he finally retired again in December of 2021.
Laurence and Ruth Rohloff sponsored children all year long in different countries to ensure a better quality of life. It’s an understatement that Laurence was a wonderful human being. He had dedicated his entire life to flying, working hard, being an honest man, with integrity. He was always making a difference in this world.
