Lawrence P Beakley

Lawrence P. Beakley, 84, passed away peacefully at home with his best friend/Caretaker/Son, Tom by his side on Friday, July 2nd, 2021. Larry was born in Millville, NJ and resided in Stuart Florida since 1965. Before retirement he worked at Whiticar Boat Works as a Finish Carpenter for 28 years. For the last 23 years he has been the Owner and Operator of The Hooker Towing Company. Anyone who knew Larry, knew that he had gasoline in his blood. His favorite past time included drag racing, as well as building and restoring race cars alongside his son.

Larry is survived by his Son, Tom Beakley of Stuart; Daughter, Laura Allen (Rick) of Stuart; Sister, M. Paula Caine (Bob) of Millville, NJ. Three Grandchildren: Justin Allen, Keith Allen and Lacey Agrusa. Nephew, Paul Caine of Millville, NJ; Niece, Jennifer Caine-Angel Of Millville, NJ; Four Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Niece and Nephew. He was preceded in death by his Wife of 28 years, Gloria Beakley (Nee Estell); his Father, Paul Beakley; Mother, Madeline Beakley and two brothers, Thomas and Jon Beakley.

Services will be held on Thursday, July 8th at 11:00am @ Aycock Funeral Home, Stuart. Followed by a short graveside service at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, Stuart.
