

Lazzaro (Larry) Fattori, 88, passed away at his home in Stuart, Florida on January 14, 2016. Larry was born on September 7, 1927 in Carlstadt, NJ. His parents Lazzaro and Gilda Fattori and his sisters Rose and Esther precede him in death.
Larry’s death is mourned by his wife Jean and their seven children: Joseph, Thomas, Ruth, Jeanne, James, Ann and Paul, twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Fattori’s family laid him to rest in a private ceremony at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery in West Palm Beach on January 18.
Larry graduated from the Valley Forge Military Academy and Stevens Institute of Technology where in 1949 he obtained a degree in mechanical engineering.
He was a naval pilot in World War II and his love of aeronautics continued throughout his lifetime.
Larry worked in the injection molding industry from the age of 16 until his death. He founded Rel Manufacturing Corporation, a renowned custom molder in the NY Metropolitan area and Relcor a manufacturer of security products for the shipping industry, located in the West Palm Beach area. Mr. Fattori was an innovator both in manufacturing processes and in design engineering as evidenced by having been granted over 60 US patents.
He took great joy and pride in working alongside and teaching his children-whether at Rel, Relcor, in the garden, or in the kitchen. He and Jean celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary along with many of their children and grandchildren just days before his death.
