Roger we just learned of your mom's passing. We always looked forward to seeing her at the"V", and loved her choice in country western shirts! She was a sweetheart and will be missed. Thoughts and prayers...

Mrs. Lil and her beloved husband George joined Tropical Farms Baptist Church the same day my family did, in the early 1980s. We became good friends with them. Mrs. Lil and I were in the ladies' Prayer Warriors together and when I was church librarian she volunteered as an assistant to help me prepare books for the shelves. We live in Cookeville, Tennessee, now. I knew she had been ill for some time, but hadn't heard of her passing until after the service. I shall miss her, but I know she is now with her Savior and her beloved husband George.

Lil and George were the sweetest couple. Right after we got married, they wanted to take us for dinner at Frances Langford's. We had the best time with them. It was the beginning of a sweet friendship with them. She will be missed but will be with her Lord and her sweetie now.
