

She was born on November 15, 1945 in Toronto, Canada and became a US Citizen in 1966. Linda’s parents were Leonard Charles Lane and Jeanie Palmer Lane.
She is survived by husband Bob, children Bruce E.L. Brown, Brian C. Brown and former Daughter in law Dr. Emily Stevens Brown, grandchildren Ellis Piper Lane Brown and Mathew Hawk Brown, cousin Glenda M. Rhodes and Donald Rhodes, niece Leanne M. Morton and Rick Morton and their children Jacob and Harrison Morton.
Linda’s father, Leonard, was an international Canadian Seascape Artist and a native of Bristol England.
Linda is known for her loving heart focused on her grandchildren and she was the past President and a member of several PEO Chapters in Florida and Virginia. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, ‘Nana”, to Ellis and Mathew, a member of the Stephen Ministry, the Altar and the Flower Guild at St Mary’s Episcopal Church in Stuart Florida.
Her special time of joy was working in her garden where she felt especially close to Jesus. She loved working for the Palm Beach County School System as an Aide to Emotionally Handicapped Children at Boca Raton Middle School and earlier as a Librarian at Delray Beach Elementary School.
She was a graduate of Drake Business College and was active in the Altar Guild and Episcopal Church women in many Episcopal Churches in South-East Florida. Linda will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
