Born in Los Angeles, California, Ms. Carpenter had previously lived in Northern California before relocating to the Stuart area in 2005.
She graduated from the University of Massachusetts and was a speech therapist, as well as a nutritional specialist and a medical herbalist.
Ms. Carpenter is lovingly survived by her parents, Richard and Joan Carpenter of North Palm Beach, FL; sister, Candace Bates of Castle Rock, CO, and brother, Richard A. Carpenter, Jr., Newark, DE.
