Peg was born December 6, 1946 in Poughkeepsie, New York to Margaret L. Gutman and the late Joseph F. Gutman. In 1964 she graduated from Poughkeepsie High School and married Thomas S. Gullo (who preceded her in death in 2003). Tom and Peg relocated to Stuart, Florida in 1974 with their children.
Peg was a real estate agent in the Stuart area before opening a local business which kept her busy for about ten years before joining and eventually retiring from the United States Post Office.
Anyone who knew her could tell you that Peg had an amazing spirit for life and living. She enjoyed hiking, bicycling, travelling and, most of all, spending time with her family and beloved grandchildren. She lived and loved every day as if it were her last, never putting off her dreams to a later time.
Peg is survived by her mother, Margaret L. Gutman, 88, her children Thomas Gullo, Karrie Bayles, Robynn Jones, and son-in-law, Jaye Bayles; her very special companion of several years, Jerry Smith; her siblings, John Gutman, Annmarie Calhoun, and Cathy Turner; her grandchildren, Jake Jones, Derek Jones, Ryan Bayles, Megan Bayles, Lance Gullo, Chelsie Gullo, Jessie Gullo, Sierra Gullo and Noah Gullo; her great-grandchildren, Jeremia Gullo and Hayden Castelli. She is further survived by her nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
