She worked as an administrative assistant for CPA'S for 26 years, and retired to Florida in 2004.
Maria is predeceased by her husband Domenic of 35 years and her daughter Eva Rink. She is survived by her son, Herbet Schmidbauer of NJ, grandchildren Marisa and Kyle, and 1 great grandchild, Beckett; also 4 stepchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, and 3 step-great grandchildren.
Maria was a long time member of Father Lou's "Friends of the word" and belonged to the German Coffee Clatch for over 40 years. She loved life, her family and friends. She enjoyed travel, reading, dining out, her soap-operas, and chocolate.
After losing Dommic in 2018 and her deteriorating health she just enjoyed her home and being close to her family and friends.
