Mary Ellen was born on September 24, 1936 in Cass County, Indiana, to Roy E. Winquist and Alice Kiger (Winquist) McNeal.
She graduated from Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana with valedictorian honors in 1955, and was a proud graduate of Indiana University School of Business in 1959.
On October 1st, 1960, Mary Ellen married the love of her life, Joseph A. Franklin, in St. Paul, Minnesota, who preceded her in death on August 8th, 2013.
Visitation will be held at Aycock Funeral Home Young & Prill Chapel, 6801 SE Federal Highway, Stuart, FL, on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at 12:00 noon, with services conducted by Father Aidan Hynes, of St. Christopher's Church at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City.
