

Ralph Haselmann of Lake Park, Fl, formerly of Hampton, NJ passed away December 22nd, 2025 at age 87. He is survived by his wife Kathleen (Mackoul) Haselmann, two daughters, Camille Waser (Eric) and Crystal Senour, 3 grandchildren, Brittany Harabedian (Zak), Eric Waser, and Graham Senour and 2 great grandchildren, Kai and Amara Harabedian. He is predeceased by his son Ralph Haselmann, Jr. Kathleen and Ralph were married 63 years. Ralph grew up as the son of a farmer in Springfield, NJ and Freehold, NJ. He harvested crops and sold produce at his parents’ road stand. He studied the accordion and became a virtuoso accordionist at age 17. In high school he formed a dance band and performed at weddings and gala events. In addition to being a musician, to finance his education he also worked as a hotel busboy, a factory worker and a door-to-door salesman. Ralph graduated from Rutgers University as a Phi Beta Kappa dean’s list student. He received his MBA in Marketing from the NYU Stern School of Business and graduated with honors. Having joined ROTC in college, upon graduation he became an officer in the US Air Force. Ralph served as a Missile Launch Officer at a Jupiter missile site in Izmir, Turkey during the Cuban missile crises of 1962. He then served as a Missile Launch Officer at a Minuteman missile site with the Strategic Air Command in Minot, North Dakota. After 7 years in the reserves, he was promoted to Captain. He felt honored and proud to serve in the military. After discharge from the Air Force, Ralph held various sales, management and marketing positions with major corporations such as Alcoa and Xerox. He founded and managed a television company – Arkay Video Productions, which flourished for 12 years. The firm created film and video productions for many Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, Prudential and Citibank. They also created graphics and animation for CBS Sports. The firm was a member of the Inc. 500 fastest growing companies and employed 22 people. Upon retirement, feeling the need to serve others, Ralph volunteered at the Veterans Administration. He also volunteered at St. George’s Church soup kitchen in Riviera Beach serving meals to the needy. Ralph was a devoted father and husband, and his family was the true source of his happiness and joy. He also enjoyed a good joke and laughed at the absurdities of life. Ralph leaves a legacy of caring, compassion, and love for his family and friends. Visitation and funeral service will be provided by St. Mary Orthodox Church of West Palm Beach, Florida. Internment will follow with military honors at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida.
