Richard E Carroll

Mr. Carroll was born in Columbus, Ohio and had been a resident of Columbus, before moving to Stuart, Florida.

He worked for Nationwide Insurance Company in Columbus, Ohio for 37 years, and was a member of the Elks Lodge 1870 in Stuart, Florida, as well as the VFW Post 10132 of Port Salerno.

Mr. Carroll was a United States Army veteran and proudly served our country during the Korean War, and was of Catholic Faith.

Survivors include step-daughter, Susan Boudreau of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Kristen and Michael Boudreau of Columbus, Ohio; brother, William J. Carroll, and his significant other, Kevie Christian of Palm City, Florida.

Mr. Carroll is predeceased by his wife, Lillian L. Carroll, and his mother, Lucille A. Carroll.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Mr. Carroll’s honor on Friday, November 5, 2010. Family and friends may call from 12:00-2:00 PM at the Elks Lodge #1870, 1001 South Kanner Highway, in Stuart, Florida.
