Robert Lee Carpenter Sr.

Born in Waynesboro, GA, Mr. Carpenter had previously lived in Deerfield Beach before moving to the Stuart area 55 years ago.

He was a driver for Maul Industries in Stuart for many years, and was a member of the Stuart Police Reserve. Mr. Carpenter was a member of Port Salerno Church of God, and was an avid golfer. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, and watching as well as playing baseball.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marian; daughters, Sheila Carpenter-Perry (Michael) of Stuart, Florida, and Barbara Carpenter of Pompano Beach, Florida; son, Robert L. Carpenter, II of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren, Chantay, Joshua, Robert III, Vernicia, and Adriana, and one great grandchild, Kaelynn.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart, Florida. A second visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 10:00AM -11:00AM at Port Salerno Church of God with a funeral service to begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens.
