Sherry Nicholson Wert, 69, died April 23, 2012 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Born on March 30, 1943 in Amityville, NY; she was the daughter of the late Royal Arlington Nicholson and Harriet Haff Nicholson and wife of the late Byron Wert.
Sherry retired from the Palm Beach County Public School System in 2000 as a Second Grade teacher at Limestone Creek Elementary School.
She is survived by her two children and their families; Beverly Wert Wiseman, of Raleigh, NC and David B. Wert, of Port St. Lucie, FL; three grandchildren and two sisters.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 9-10 AM at Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart, FL; with memorial services to be held at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Fern Hill Cemetery.
